I am not a techy but I truly appreciate how digital innovations are shaping the future, that I am proud to share if I may that one of my sons is also into this digital & technology landscape as a software engineer.
And businesses now are transforming using digital technology, enabling doing business remotely. My preferred way of working, so I’d applied in Canonical for a Global Payroll Administrator post.
As I submit my application, and Canonical in their response, encourage me to join one of the communities. In my understanding, please correct me if I’m wrong, all 3 Canonical products are used and interrelated that forms their architectural framework for their workforce and all 3 communities are inter-collaborative.
CharmHub, I choose to join first not only because I want to know more about applications control & infrastructure and more but funnily for its name , I feel like everyone in the community are charming.
I humbly hope that Canonical would find me a fit partner for their goal and be able to collaborate and contribute in my administrative capabilities.
My name is Omar, and I’m thrilled to have applied for the Junior Marketing Product Manager role. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my enthusiasm for joining your team.
What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and work on innovative marketing strategies & I am constantly seeking opportunities to learn and grow, and I’m confident that this position will provide just that.
I am excited about the possibility of joining your team and contributing to its success…
Hello everyone! My name is Eliot Huh and I’m a software engineer based in Chicago. I recently applied to Canonical’s Kafka data infrastructure position.
I’ve worked as a software engineer in finance for a few years, where application performance was essential. We tended to write/manage much of the supporting services surrounding our applications with proprietary code, so the idea of using an orchestrator engine such as Juju is quite interesting to me. I’d definitely love to learn more and contribute to this community!
Hi Everyone,
I am glad I found this thread and people who were in the same boat as me.
My name is Manavi Thukral, and I have just applied for the role of HR Generalist. I currently live in Canada and I have completed my bachelors in electronics and communications engineering and my master in business administration specialising in Human Resources. Hopefully, when and if I get select I can’t wait to see and talk with everyone.
Hi to all the fellow applicants!
I’m Sarah based in Berlin, Germany. An enthusiastic digital marketer who just applied for the job “Digital Marketing Graduate”. What brought me to this community is the professional & transparent path of the hiring process (mentioned in the email sent by HR) and my curiosity to get a deeper understanding of the company’s culture and strategy. I am impressed by the company’s approach to fostering community building in its different service pillars and letting externals engage with it! Hopefully I get the opportunity to get active here as an internal member, learn from masters, and add value to the company’s success.
Hi everyone - It’s lovely to see other people in the same boat. I too have applied for a role at Canonical (within the finance team). Whether I progress in the recruitment process or not is has been lovely to learn something new and join this community I didn’t know existed until I applied for the role! All the very best to fellow candidates applying for future roles!
