We are pleased to announce that we will be holding office hours for the 12-factor project for Charmcraft and Rockcraft on Fridays at 9:15 UTC. You can use this time slot to discuss anything related to the 12-factor project, including:

Any questions related to the 12-factor project. Feedback, suggestions, and ideas for improvement. The first session will be on 6 June 2025 11:15.

My personal opinion is that the 12-factor project is the way to go for charming applications that follow the 12-factor methodology. It is straightforward and you can easily integrate with other juju charms.

12-factor is also a nice way to get introduced to Juju and charming. If you haven’t, you can start by following one of the tutorials in https://canonical-charmcraft.readthedocs-hosted.com/stable/tutorial/kubernetes-charm-django/. You can also join us in the office hours every Friday at 9:15 UTC!
