System requirements
The following are the minimum software and hardware requirements to run Charmed MongoDB on IAAS/VM.
Minimum requirements
juju v.3.0or higher- Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal) for channel
5/releases - Ubuntu 22.04 (Jammy) for channel
6/releases
For replica set deployments
- At least 2GB of RAM.
- At least 2 CPU threads per host.
- For production deployments: at least 60GB of available storage on each host.
For sharded cluster deployments
- At least 4GB of RAM.
- At least 2 CPU threads per host.
- For production deployments: at least 60GB of available storage on each host.
