Who owns the InfluxDB charm listed on Charmhub? Reason I ask is because the Slurm charms have an existing integration with InfluxDB since Slurm can use InfluxDB for logging job performance data. That said, the deploying the current publicly listed InfluxDB charm has been broken for a while: InfluxDB charm not deploying · Issue #160 · canonical/slurm-charms · GitHub.
The “resolution” is to override the source where InfluxDB is being pulled from, but the long-term solution is to either:
- Remove the InfluxDB integration from the Slurm charms.
- Have the HPC community take over maintenance of the InfluxDB charm?
Given that InfluxDB was an HPC community contribution to the Slurm charms, I’d prefer not to remove it. The team listed under the team is “InfluxDB charmers”, so if you have control over this charm, could you please reach out to me (@nuccitheboss) so we can discuss the long-term plans for this charm?
