Which nginx charm are you using in production?

I see years ago (2013) already there are discussions about if a certain juju charm of nginx is production ready or not (it was deemed not)

https://askubuntu.com/questions/331500/is-the-nginx-charm-stable-for-production

What I was wondering… I have started charming NGINX myself, but are there other versions or better more production ready versions for what i am doing?? (Virtual Hosts so that I can terminate TLS at NGINX for multiple sites… while pointing the request onward to one of my servers in the back end)

Is there a community of ‘core’ operators in this area? so far I would say postgresql and mongodb are really strong… but I have not found one for nginx yet.

Thanks!

So far found

I am not looking for K8s versions at this time, just FYI

Hey @emcp we are heading in this direction as well. Are you still developing the nginx charm ?

afaik this charm is being maintained and developed by our internal systems https://charmhub.io/nginx-ingress-integrator

we ( enser.io ) are still utilizing our nginx flavor @ Charmhub | Deploy Mahrio Nginx using Charmhub - The Open Operator Collection

now powered by Rust as well

I successfully coupled bind9 to this in order to support internal DNS for a LXD backed cloud …

We’ve been focused on other things but… happy to update any details if needed or increase public facing documentation, etc…

Also if the better thing for community is to migrate to some other charm… I can see how that could look but cannot make promises on timeline
