Canonical Data team is baking a new charm for etcd.
It is currently registered as https://charmhub.io/charmed-etcd (the final naming is still WIP as Charmhub | Deploy Etcd using Charmhub - The Open Operator Collection is in active use nowadays).
Anyway, to unblock charm.py development please transfer ownership for charmed-etcd from me to data-platform account with display name Canonical (like all other Data team charms have, e.g. https://charmhub.io/mongodb or https://charmhub.io/postgresql ).
