2026-08-17 - 2026-08-28 (Pulse 2026#17)
Externals
- Added a tutorial on how to deploy GARM.
- Traefik charm now supports a new action “get-loadbalancer-ip” to retrieve the LB IP without needing to use the Kubernetes API.
- Applied a mature homepage pattern to content-cache-operator, traefik-k8s-operator, backup-operators, and saml-integrator-operator.
- The Rockcraft documentation for the Express extension was updated to include clarification in the build step and clarification about which Node.js version is used in the rock by default.
- The bingo charm now has dedicated how-to guides for the various configuration options and an end-to-end tutorial covering a local bingo deployment.
- The gateway-api-integrator charm has three new how-to guides: how to configure HSTS, how to enforce HTTPS, and how to select a gateway class.
- We published documentation for the OSQuery charm: configuration-related documentation followed by the remaining user-relevant documentation.
- The Traefik charm received several documentation updates this pulse around its supported integrations. We clarified how TLS works in the charm, included more information about the traefik-route relation endpoint, and added a dedicated ingress library reference page.
- Last pulse we set up the repository platform-engineering-documentation-files to hold our team’s management and maintenance solution for shared documentation files across our portfolio. This pulse we selected Copier as the underlying file management tool, added an onboarding skill for LLMs to bootstrap an existing documentation set into the solution, and onboarded discourse-k8s-operator into the solution.
- Charm-ci released to stable. All projects using it (~20) are also using the stable version.
- Removed charming-actions from operator-workflows promotion workflow.
