Does Juju support openID as an authentication mechanism?
If not, it would be great to have this option since Incus now will drop support for Candid and replace with openID (which makes alot of sense).
We’re looking at freeIPA as an open source option to Active Directory and Identity provider (IDP). Perhaps you know of a better alternative ?
Juju doesn’t support OpenID today, and likely won’t in the next 6 months. However, it is very much the plan of Canonical to move to OpenID and a bunch of other authn and authz changes. It just isn’t something in the short term plan as we’re primarily focused on getting off of mongo.
Right. Thanx for that intel. That gives us some comfort in moving forward on some of our other infrastructure choises.
