The Work
This pulse has been mostly focused on stabilizing the performance of the Observability charms and products.
feat: Forwarded the OpenTelemetry Collector’s internal telemetry, with expanded unit test coverage: opentelemetry-collector, opentelemetry-collector, opentelemetry-collector-k8s, opentelemetry-collector-k8s
feat: Added riscv64 and extra platform support to our exporter snaps: node-exporter, prometheus-blackbox-exporter, script-exporter, script-exporter (still to be released, currently undergoing manual review from the snap team)
feat: Made the Prometheus scrape library react to leader election: prometheus-k8s
feat: Added Debian watch support and trimmed the packaging down to the injector: opentelemetry-packaging, opentelemetry-packaging
feat: Migrated to the charmlibs certificate_transfer library, removing flapping: opentelemetry-collector-k8s
fix: Removed flapping status and relation churn across the charm fleet: loki-k8s, grafana-k8s, grafana-agent, opentelemetry-collector
fix: Stopped units getting wedged when the Promtail binary is missing: loki-k8s
fix: Kept Loki and Mimir on stable ports regardless of TLS state, and refreshed ingress data on reconcile: loki, mimir, mimir, loki
docs: Documented running Mimir on Juju and importing COS with Terraform: observability-stack, observability-stack
