New track guardrails/tracks for MAAS charms

Hi Charmhub admins,

MAAS team would like to release its charms under channels that correspond to MAAS versions. e.g., 3.4/stable, 3.5/beta, 4.0/edge for MAAS 3.4, 3.5, 4.0.

As such we would like an admin to set the following guardrail for our channels other than the latest: \d\.\d+

Please proceed with the following:

  • maas-region:
    • add track guardrail: \d\.\d+
    • create tracks: 3.4, 3.5
  • maas-agent:
    • add track guardrail: \d\.\d+
    • create tracks: 3.4, 3.5

Hi Stamatis,

We cannot set track guardrails for particular risk levels. If we set guardrail \d\.\d+, it will also extend to x/latest channels. Please let me know if you’d like to proceed.

I just enumerated examples of channel names. I am aware that the guardrails are not covering risk levels. Feel free to proceed and thank you for the clarification :slight_smile:

Ah, I misunderstood what you meant by latest here.

I have added the guardrails and new tracks for the listed charms!
