New Charmed Apache Spark stable releases now available!

We are excited to announce that the stable releases for Charmed Apache Spark across tracks 3.4, 3.5, and 4.0 are now officially available! :rocket:

Following our recent candidate releases announcement, we have consolidated feedback, finalized testing, and promoted the candidate revisions to the stable channel.

:tada: A Major Milestone: Spark 4.0 Hits Stable!

Most notably, this update marks the very first stable release for Apache Spark 4.0 in the Charmed ecosystem! :tada:

Bringing the next generation of Apache Spark into the stable channel is a big step forward. Users can now run Spark 4 workloads in production environments with full Juju automation, day-2 operational management, and enterprise-grade lifecycle support.

What’s New Across the Tracks?

These release most notably brings the support for a Charmed Apache Spark Terraform Module to deliver a seamless, production-ready and fully open-source data lake experience, across the various tracks. Moreover, the new releases also bring key stability fixes, performance enhancements, and security patches across all supported tracks.
