Need to create release track for Trilio Charms - '6.x'

Hi,

We are working on a major release 6.x of “Trilio for OpenStack” product. I am Shyam from Trilio devops team.

We need a new track named “6.x” on our following cramhub repos.

  1. Charmhub | Deploy TrilioVault Data Mover using Charmhub - The Open Operator Collection
  2. Charmhub | Deploy TrilioVault Data Mover API using Charmhub - The Open Operator Collection
  3. Charmhub | Deploy TrilioVault Workload Manager using Charmhub - The Open Operator Collection
  4. Charmhub | Deploy TrilioVault Horizon Plugin using Charmhub - The Open Operator Collection

Could you please create it?

@shyambiradar I’ve moved this topic into the charmhub-requests category, which is where these topics should be filed in the future.

As part of this request, you may want to also request a track guardrail which allows you to create your own tracks in the future. A track guardrail is a regular expression that provides the rules for what the track naming will be. For example, [0-9]+\.[0-9x]+ would allow versions 6.1, 6.x, 7.2, etc.

It’s been a month and We didn’t get the resolution. Can you please create a track named 6.1? And Also create a gaurdrail of [0-9]+\.[0-9x]+ would allow us to create our own tracks like 6.1, 6.x, 7.2, etc.

I have created track 6.1 and added guardrails [0-9]+\.[0-9x]+ for the following charms:

trilio-charmers-trilio-data-mover

trilio-charmers-trilio-dm-api

trilio-charmers-trilio-wlm

trilio-charmers-trilio-horizon-plugin
