Hive Charm update?

anyone know how the big data charmers are going these days?

I ask because I see a pre-existing HIVE charm … which I might want to use to couple with my Trino charm

to query S3… but it seems quite old… any way I can help update it?

Hi, @emcp! I’m not sure that Hive is part of the current Data Platform team’s focus. @mykola.marzhan is this project on your radar at all?

I went ahead and rolled a specific charm containing only the hive-metastore… so far so good with it
