Deletion of old MAAS charms

We would like to delete/remove a set of old MAAS charms from CharmHub:

Hi,

Charms cannot be deleted. Since these charms will not be used by anyone anymore, I suggest you close all of their channels with charmcraft close and we can then un-list them so as to make them unfindable. What do you think?

Hi Odyssea,

Thank you for your recommendation. I closed all tracks from all the charms. As a result, the charm pages that I have linked in my topic now return 404. I also tried to unregister them but I received an error saying:

Charms can only be unregistered by their publisher

Their publisher is set to maas-maintainers, a LP group that my personal account belongs to.

Please proceed to any cleanup actions can be done from your side.

Update after reading old discourse topics: Can you transfer the ownership of these 3 charms to me so that I can try unregister them?

Ok, it does not matter even if I am an owner. The error now is different:

forbidden: Cannot unregister a package with existing revisions

Feel free to unlist them and perform any other cleanup action available.
