Just to clarify, the guardrail will only allow tracks in the form of: 1.0.X but not 1.0. is that the desired guardrail? asking as the requested track does not match that Unless that the regex is for the version pattern and not track guardrail, if that is the case, please let me know and I will process with the creation

yes, the regex is for the versions in the 1.0 track

In this project:

  • the tracks will be in the form of 1.0, 1.1, …
  • while the versions are in the form of major.minor.patch

Hi, I just realized I’m mixing snap and charm tracks. There’s no “version” in charms, just “revision” numbers.

So what we need is a guardrail \d\.\d for the tracks, and no regex for the version/revision (it’s just a number).

I’m sorry for the confusion.

Removed the version pattern, and added a guardrail as requested
