Beginner level workshop: Your first operator charm

This is a workshop for you that want to learn how to develop juju charms with “ops”/“operator” framework.

I will take you through developing a basic ops charm from start to end.

Please prepare yourself with the following:

  • Have a juju client setup and working against your preferred cloud. (You will need to be able to do juju deploy)
  • Be able build charm with charmcraft pack.
  • Read through this great getting stared material by our community member @tmihoc et. al: Juju | SDK How-to guides

About me - I’ve been using Juju for years and hosted lots of on-boarding sessions. I’m happy to share my experiences with you and hopefully learn something myself.
