Charm Tech had a lighter pulse this time, with a third of our team still away for the mid-year break. The rest of us came back refreshed and got right back into it. We built a CLI entrypoint for jubilant wait, started modernising the Juju controller charm, and put significant work into Pebble specs and PoCs for scheduled service start and TLS contexts.
And have a play with David’s neat jjx tool, which lets you quickly test a K8s charm straight from source using Docker – no packing or real Juju required. (Some conditions apply.)

Released jjx version 0.4, which includes support for COS Lite. jjx is a very experimental tool for “running” small K8s charms from source, without needing to pack the charm or set up Juju. See https://github.com/dwilding/jjx for more info and a demo!
