TEMPLATE - Juju Release Notes - MAJOR

This is a template for future Release Notes affecting major releases (e.g. 2.5). Any changes to it should be updated in any WIP release notes on Discourse.

The title of the post should be Juju 2.x is the new stable series. Insert the appropriate version.

Install Juju

Install Juju using the snap:

sudo snap install juju --classic

Those users already using the ‘stable’ snap channel (the default as per the above command) should be upgraded automatically. Other packages are available for a variety of platforms (see the install documentation).
